Do you share our passion for dogs? WOOFS! is frequently on the look-out for enthusiastic new talent on our daycare team and in our training department.


Our TeamWOOFS! is seeking reliable, hard working, team players for full- and part-time positions as daycare attendants. Experience with animal care is preferred, but a desire to learn is required. Candidates must be willing to learn about dog behavior and learning theory.

Starting pay is $9/hr and benefits for full-time employees include paid leave. Job duties include cleaning up after dogs and supervising play groups. Attendants must be able to be on their feet and alert for all of their shift.

Promotion opportunities exist for qualified employees. Daycare employees are also eligible for apprenticeship opportunities in our training program.

We are proud of our large team of dedicated and knowledgable trainers.  WOOFS! trainers have spoken at local and national events including ClickerExpo the annual conference of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.  We have published materials in national journals like the Chronicle of the Dog, have hosted webinars, and have served on national committees.  We run agility, herd sheep, hike with our dogs, and volunteer in rescue.  We commit to always keep learning and to always keep innovating.

Apprentice Trainers

Prospective apprentices must demonstrate some existing experience or dedication to animal training. Daycare employees are eligible to apprentice with our trainers.
