ADULT DOG BASIC
It’s always a good time to learn polite behavior! Would you like to get a handle on your dog’s jumping or leash-pulling? Does he only sit when he wants to and forget to come when you call? This is the class for you.
Content: Name game, sit, down, stay, come when called, targeting, polite greetings, and loose-leash walking
For: Adult dogs new to obedience
Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays

Intermediate Obedience with CGC
Build on the skills you and your dog learned in Basic Class. Strengthen good manners, get faster, more reliable responses, and learn to fade the use of food. We incorporate elements of the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test and offer the exam at the end of each course.
Content: Greeting friendly strangers, sitting politely for petting, loose-leash walking, walking through a crowd, sit, down, & stay, recall, and more
For: Adult dogs
Days: Wednesdays

Prerequisites: Basic Class (sorry, PETCO and PetSmart classes don’t satisfy the requirement). Current vaccination certificate.
Intermediate Obedience with Rally (Levels I & II + Advanced)
Learn while you have fun! Rally-style training (and competitions) is one of the best and most entertaining way to teach your dog obedience. You and your dog navigate a course of 10–20 stations, each marking an exercise to carry out.
Content: Basic and advanced obedience maneuvers like heel or loose-leash walking, stand, turn, sit, back up, and more
For: Adult dogs
Days: Wednesdays, Saturdays

At WOOFS! we use only positive reinforcement training methods grounded in the latest canine behavioral science. This dog-friendly approach is endorsed by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviorists, the ASPCA, and every other reputable animal organization in the country.
Puppy Parties
Start your puppy’s socialization process at our FREE puppy play hour. We meet every Saturday from 9–10am at our Ballston Campus. Puppies must be 16 weeks or younger. Bring proof of your pup’s first two rounds of vaccinations. No registration needed.
